Legacy system migration

We migrate your whole system, not just the code.

We inventory everything your system does, decide what happens to each piece and bring it to current technology. From the language you have to the one you choose, without stopping the operation.

01 · Analysis and assessment

Before moving a single line, we know what you have.

We go through the whole system: code, screens, database, scheduled processes, reports and integrations. Nothing gets lost along the way and every decision has a reason.

02 · What we migrate

Every layer of your system has a destination.

This is how a legacy information system is organized, and how it ends up. The examples are indicative: we work with whatever technology you have.

03 · Code and business rules

We rescue the rules hidden in the code.

Many of your business rules only exist inside the old code. We extract them, validate them with your team and protect them with tests before rewriting them. Here, from Visual Basic 6 to C#; the method works for other languages.

  • Rules catalog, readable by the business
  • Every rule with its automated test
  • We remove dead code, we don't migrate it
04 · Obsolete components

We remove the pieces nobody maintains anymore.

ActiveX controls, old report engines or 32-bit drivers tie your system to a Windows from another era. We replace them with standard, supported components, one by one.

  • Less security risk
  • No licenses for discontinued products
  • Free to update the operating system and move to the cloud
05 · Database and data migration

Your data, organized and verified one by one.

We redesign the schema and move the data from wherever it is (Access, DBF, old Oracle or SQL Server). We rehearse the load as many times as needed and reconcile every table with the original before the switch.

  • Same rows and same totals, verified
  • Cleanup of duplicates and invalid data
  • Procedures and triggers converted or moved into the code
06 · Interface

Screens your team wants to use.

From desktop forms or terminal screens to a web and mobile app, designed for everyday tasks.

  • From anywhere, on any device
  • Nothing to install on each PC
07 · Reports

The same numbers, now up to date.

We migrate each report checking that it gives the same figures as the original, and turn it into a web dashboard with filters and export.

  • Figures reconciled against the original report
  • We retire the reports nobody uses
08 · Integrations and batch processes

Systems that talk to each other on their own.

Files over FTP, shared databases and nightly processes run by hand become APIs, events and automatic tasks that alert you if something fails.

  • Clear, versioned integration contracts
  • Scheduled processes with retries and alerts
09 · Infrastructure and deployment

From installing PC by PC to deploying with one click.

The new system lives in the cloud, deploys automatically and coexists with the old one until the final cutover. If something goes wrong, it rolls back.

  • Gradual cutover, module by module
  • Rollback ready at every step
  • Monitoring and alerts from day one
How we do it

Six stages. Your operation, always running.

AI agents write the code in small changes; a person on the team reviews and approves each one before production.
